Not saying that I would, could or should ever do this. This is all "imaginary" but lets say you're in a state that has certain firearms banned by name. The law in this state says that firearms named XXXX are illegal. Now lets say you know a gun smith who will make you whatever you want. Now if said gun smith can make the XXXX firearm but not call it XXXX firearm but something else entirely do you then think the firearm would then be legal according to that states rules???

No what I am trying to say is that "imagine" for a min that you live in a state where you can't own an AR-15 because its banned by name but you CAN own a Bushmaster because its not named an AR-15 so "Imagine" You cannot own a PSG-1 because its banned by name do you think it would be legal to "clone" a PSG-1 and it would be legal??? Remeber this is all "pretend"
