What is the trick to getting those tiny detents pushed in so you can install the takedown pins ?

Really, they aren't bad once you get the hang of it.  

I found the easiest (for the front) was to put the spring in, then the detent kinda "laying" there, then use the takedown pin to press it in, then install the pin.  

Hard to explain, but for some reason, my kit gave me NO troubles last time.  I even did it twice.
