Upper - AR15.COM

My friend is putting together a AR. What is the a good M4 style upper to get in the $300-600 range. I told him LMT or CMMG. Any info that would help him out would be apreciated.

The CMT/ Stag upper is very nice.

LMT, CMT, CMMG, Stag are all good uppers.

I have used Stag uppers for builds and they are nice for the price. CMMG also has some very nice uppers. I think the CMMG is going to be a bit more pricey though.

Thanks. He told me he wants a 16" bull barrel chromed lined with out front sight. I saw in Shot gun news Sabre Defence Industries has a upper that meets all of is criteria. Are Sabre uppers any good? He wants to order this weekend what is the best place to go through? Thanks again

I'll just say right up front that I am biased towards LMT because I am an LMT dealer.

CMMG, Stag and Sabre are good kit as well.
