Ok, I need to get a bayonet Lug off a barrel.  how much of it do i need to remove for it to be legal?

I bought a post ban middy barrel from ADCO a few years back.  The lug had the lower ears machined off, maintaining the overall profile if viewed from the side, without the lower ears a bayonet would not lock onto the barrel.

I have a brand new RRA M4 chrome lined heavy barrel (purchased from ADCO) that has the bayo lug cut off I would trade with you.
