Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Barrel identity

I bought a colt upper at a show, and all i know is that it is a colt. the barrel has (C MP 5.56
NATO 1/7 HBAR) bolt has ( MPC)  and i have ( C MB) near rear sight.   My ? is that this combo has no bayo lug, yet a A2 sup  and It is not pinned.  any light on the subject would be great.

As you can note here: www.biggerhammer.net/ar15/variants/, some Colt uppers/rifles came with no bayo lug.
