I looked around the site before asking and I am sure it on here, but if you purchase a stripped lower then buy all the parts and assemble it yourself, do you still need to do any paperwork like you do a SBR or anything like that.

Your "paperwork" will be the 4473 you filled out at the FFL when you bought the serial #....  Title-1 firearm, build away.

For SBR (Title-2 firearm),  you will need to do the required paperwork and misc to register the serial # to allow it to sport a shorter than 16" barrel.
