I am using non-shrouded carriers for a couple of builds,  will these hammers create a problem?  Can the hammers be fixed or rounded off?

Before you jump the gate, try and see if you first have problems with the hammers catching on the firing pin collars before hacking at anything.

Those is just "SP-1" style hammers (notch at top) as used originally with those carriers (SP-1) as designed by COLT to prevent a run-away if the hammer were to follow..

Just don'tt try to use them with the Colt pattern 9mm bolt.... use the hammer  with the round top.

If you run the Olympic pistol caliber upper, then the SP-1 hammer is fine.

Thanks, I will give them a try before I replace them.
