Really all I build was the lower. But, that counts right?

RRA stripped lower.
RRA mid-length flat top upper.
RRA lower parts kit.
M-4 6 position stock.
Generic carry handle.

Now to shoot it!

Nice!

If it shoots anything like mine, you'll love it!

+1

Especially if you throw a 9mm buffer in it.

Looks good.

Wizzo whats the 9mm buffer do for ya?

Reduces recoil, slows operating speeds causing less wear and tear, aids in extraction by letting the chamber pressure time to drop, and smooths the carbine out even more while shooting. It's more of a push, not a jab anymore. It's about like shooting a rifle gas system, not a carbine system now.

Where would someone get ahold of one of these?

Very nice rifle, I love it!   I should have the exact same setup sometime next week.  I just ordered my RRA Car A4 mid length upper today.  I'm excited after seeing your pics.  Let us know how it shoots.

I am also curious about this 9mm buffer.  Where can they be purchased and how is it installed?

I got mine from ADCO. $27.50 shipped to my door, IIRC.

Well I suppose, but you really got over by not having to assemble the rear sight from scratch.
j/k:  Actually the rear sight is kind of fun to put together.

Nice middy.

As in not a RRA or Colt etc.. It was a $40.00 import that I picked up from centerfire systems.

Thanks for all the replies eveyone.

Well Done FGC!  I am of the opinion that the mid length gas system with a 16 inch barrel is the perfect set up for an AR15 platform. Congrats and let us know how it performs.

Very nice.  I don't have a mid-length carbine but you guys are talking me into it.
