I haven't had any real experience with RRA's A2 uppers, but my brother's Bushmaster is definitely a high quality part.

My 2 A2's are M&A Parts and Capco (a government contractor that made M16A2 conversion kits for M16A1's).

The M&A Parts upper is NOT pretty at all. Stay away from them.

If I've had to settle for something less than COLT due to HIGH PRICE, I've always gone with Bushy for complete uppers.

Sometimes the Mechanical Zero isn't always close to my Zero, but they're decent uppers in my experience.

I might say ARMALITE too, but I've never tried them.

If Colt isn't an option,  

My Ist choice would be Bushmaster.  It's Milspec.  

My 2nd choice would be RRA.
