Just ordered my upper from Bushy-  A3, 16 inch fluted, flip up front sight.  Have the parts kit from Del-Ton to go with the DPMS lower I got for a great price (I think) .   Now I can start on my first AR, hopefully I can handle the assembly of the lower.  Wish me luck.

I feel bad for you living in NJ with their cursed AWB enhanced gun laws.  You can't even make a decent build.

I guess if I were there I would make the best of it, good luck.

Hear ya about the insane NJ laws, but all I lose is the flashider and bayonet lug, so it will still be cool.    Man, whoever invented roll pins has to be laughing up a storm.   Tough little buggers to get started, and I was so worried about breaking the flange for the trigger guard, it looks really delicate.   But was patient and finally got it in.   Any suggestions for the bolt catch roll pin, that looks like a toughie.

Put masking tape on the lower.  Thet way if you slip you won't gouge the lower.  Put a little gun oil on the roll pin too. I usually start buy holding the pin with a needle nose pliers and hit it with the face of the hammer then finish the job with a punch.

Got it together successfully, but feel like a dumb ass, lost the pivot detent spring.  Oh well, got a few days till the upper arrives I'll have to order a new one.   The pivot pin is a pita, and was struggling with it.  Really glad I put it together though, now have a better understanding of the inner workings.

My upper arrived from Bushie, only took 5 days.  Wow, can't wait to shoot this thing, hoping it's accurate.   My first AR, awesome.
