after many months and months of saving and buying parts and waiting for shipping etc..... I have finally completed it with the exception of a of/off cap for the light..

2hrs later and a lot of cursing at the MI handguards.


Stag upper(M4 ramps) and lower

Not exaclty sure, I bought the lower complete minus stock from Eagle.  It came with a metal trigger guard if that helps.  I might assume it's a RRA.

Just took it to the range real quick for a function test, and it did very well except for an issue with a XM855PD round that the bullet was seated way too far back.
 


I shot off around 150rds with no other problems though.

answer to previous question: I have around $1400ish into it.

Thats PD ammo for you. I had the same exact thing happen to me w/ a round of XM193PD only FTF my rifle has ever had.

yep, I wont ever be buying this ammo again.. It took me 5 min to be able to get the bolt to release; that is not worth the "savings".

+1. I now shoot only boxed stuff. My buddy actually ordered the PD and I shot some. Never again.
