Which Vise Block - AR15.COM

I'm looking for recommendations on which LOWER-receiver vise block to purchase. Many thanks in advance for your feedback.

I got my upper and lower block kit from Fulton Armory for $35 IIRC. I think that is about as cheap as I have seen them. Having both is a good thing if you do not already have the upper block and would like to do a build or mods to the upper in the future.

Thanks. I'm not necessarily looking for the cheapest. I'm interested in which are the best regardless of cost and which are the best value (i.e., best bang for the buck).

I bought the tool tray one, so as not to lose small parts. It would also make a fine display stand, if you are into that sort of thing.

Thanks; I forgot about those. Is ths stand you purchased stable enough for R&R of a staked telestock, or would I have to get the Heavy-Duty Maintenance Stand?

Hey Aubrey. What exactly are you trying to do? All of our stands are sturdy enough to most all of your maintenance and cleaning needs. The HD stand is a great product for torquing down your castlenut when putting on or taking off telestocks. It only works with telestocks though because it is the same diameter of the buffer tube and the stand post is notched at the bottom for the rib on the bottom of the buffer tube.

Gotcha.

The set I got works very well and appears to be virtually indestructible. It works well for me because I have a vise mounted on my work bench. For me it is the best bang for my buck.

The ones M4Madness linked to look really nice however.
