I was trying to take the rear sight assembly off of an A2 and dropped the dang ball bearing in the windage knob.  I crawled around on the shop floor for over 20 minutes and finally gave up and in the process of packing everything up, I found it.  I was overjoyed and while walking back to my box, I dropped the damn thing again.  So.....I stupid/dumb/lucky then not/and an idiot.  I will try and find someone that sells small ball bearings tomorrow.  Do any of you know the actual size of this thing or can I just take the knob in with me and see what they have that will fit the hole in the knob.  I figure that would probably do it.  Anyway, thanks for any help you may be able to give me.  GS

Thanks guys.  I'm on my way out to work right now so I'll try and get some while I'm on the road today.  Thanks again.  And, I may have some extras if anyone ever needs any after today.    GS
