I am in the process of putting on paper my first build. I am hoping that some of you would reveiw my list and make sure I'm heading in the right direction.

LMT lower
CMT upper
Bushy chrome lined bbl
RRA two-stage trigger
6pos butt
fobus quad handgaurd
hogue grip

That is the base rifle. Am I missing anything?
Your thoughts on it.

Dump the fobus handguard, for the money there are much better things out there that won't break.

You also might want to consider a bolt carrier assembly and a lower parts kit.

Get a YHM 2-piece rail system for a few dollars more. You won't be disappointed

Or, as long as you are building the upper, get the one piece and free float the barrel.

Ah that raises a question that has been on my mind.
What is the difference in the free floating bbl's?

NVM While searching I found a nice RRA on sale at eaglefirearms.
