Is ther an easy way to hold the front site in place when you're re-installing it? Mine seems to want to rotate slightly.

Are you referring to the entire front sight base? If so, I just push the taper pins in by hand, then tap them with a punch and hammer. I've never had any try to rotate on the barrel.

yeah if your's has the taper pins they will pretty much align themselves

Maybe it was an optical illusion. When I finished tapping them into place it looks just fine........shoots just fine too.
