Im working on my first build, still in the planning and getting parts phase. I ran across a complete upper yesterday, its made by EGW. Its a flat top with the dust cover and forward assist, and has the complete bolt, carrier and charging handle in it. The guy wants $200 for it, Im not familiar with EGW, the bolt and carrier are made by DPMS. It is used, but according to him it has less then 200 rounds through it. Anybody here ever use an EGW upper? Does $200 sound like a bargin on this upper?

Im building a varmint rifle. The lower is a Bushmaster with a Chip McCormick super match trigger, an A-2 butt stock and a DPMS tactical palm grip. I have a DPMS Varmint barrel, its a 20" with a 1-9" twist and steel gas block. I still havent decided on a handgaurd yet, Im guessing a free float tube would be the best way to go. Any suggestions on free float tubes? Im sure some are better then others, Im not worried about price.

Any ideas or suggestions are appreciated.

ive used the EGW uppers for builds ive done for other ppl. As w/ any EGW product, they are of excellent quality. I would not hesitate to use them again.
