I looked throught the tacked threads and didn't find anything, but it's possible that I missed it.  How difficult is it to assemble a stripped upper?  The barrel installation looks pretty straightforward, but how about installing the rear sight (A1), forward assist and dust cover?  It doesn't seem like it would be too hard, but then again I've never had to do it.

I just completed an A2 upper. I used the instructions off this site. The information tab has some links to  manuals. I thought it was fairly easy. The third topic in this forum has upper assembly instructions also.

What you've mentioned wouldn't be too difficult. The A2 sights can be a bear, but the A1's are a piece of cake.

Yeah, I bet you think photography is pretty easy too. Thanks for the input, I just wanted to double-check before I took the plunge.
