Well I got the M4..gry done and I'm very excited.  I do have a few questions.

The RRA 6 pos stock.  Is there a way to tighten it up a bit.  It rattles a bit when ya shake etc.  Or is that just the nature of the beast.

The takedown pins are a bear to move after the upper is in place.  When I go to break it down it takes a pen tip or something to push them out.

Thanks in advance

Joe

Leave the take down pins alone.  They will loosen up with use.  Anything you do now to make them easier to remove will end up giving you a really sloppy fit later.  Get one of those little take down pin pushers from Brownells.  They go on your key chain and are great.

If the buffer tube is good and tight and it is the telescoping part that is a bit loose I don't think there is much you can do.  I have a M4 and a CAR and they are both a bit on the "less than tight" side and there is some movement.  What seems normal to me may seem excessive to you so it is hard saying how much is too much without actually examining it.

I just put a brand new RRA 6 Pos. stock on my gun a few weeks back. It was wiggly but not excessively so. I think that it is the nature of the beast.

Heat it up and squeeze it a tad in a vise.  Do a little bit at a time and it will turn out fine.

Credit goes to a few different people who have posted this over the years.
