Hi all,
I have a 20" barrel with a blind-pinned muzzle brake.  It appears that the weld is done at 6 o'clock, as the welded area is slightly visible.  I would like to use a FF rail (such as LT or DD), flip-up front sight and a FH, but it is almost impossible to do with the brake permanently attached (I know that Samson and Troy are limited options for FFs).

Is the pin that locks the brake soft enough to drill out with a common hand-held drill, without damaging the brake or barrel?

Thanks for any help,
Ron
