Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Need some help with rear sight spring pin

Ok, so I bought an A1 sight kit from Brownells; it was missing the spring pin to retain the windage adjustment. After three (3!) tries at shipping me the missing part, finally, two months later, I get an A2 spring pin . Now they tell me the A1 pin is not available. So.....

Is the diameter of the two pins the same, so I can just cut the one I have to fit the A1?

Yes they are the same.  1/16"X1/4" is what you need.  They cost about ten cents at ACE Hardware.
