I was thinking about 'coloring in' my SAFE / FIRE indicators on my lower rcvr.  This isn't a 'tactical' weapon so the paint I think shouldn't be a problem...

I was wondering if the sight-bright (touch up for gunsights, shotgun beads etc) applied with, say the point of a toothpick would work?  Green or white for SAFE, Red for FIRE.

Would just fillin in the impressions be enough?  I've seen a few of them done where the letters really stand out - which I like.  What's the best way to do this?

I like the lacquer sticks from brownells.

Others swear by model paint and toothpicks. Just make sure to de-grease first.

I used paint markers from the hobbie store.Just dab it in and wipe off the excess with alittle solvent on a rag.
