ANyobody got any reasonable ideas for removing the castle nut from a Colt butt stock assembly. I just broke a DPMS AR tool and the nut did not move. Thanks Pete

I'd suggets Liquid Wrench at this juncture.
I had a pb with a castle nut on an M1A front sight... and it worked after 24hrs.

You need the proper wrench for the castle nut.  Using the single tipped one is an exercise in frustration, believe me.

Damn, I've seen hundreds and hundreds of dollars worth of parts needlessly Dremeled here when the proper tools are just a few dollars and about 15 min worth of work.

Castle nuts, FSBs, Delta rings, snap rings and springs - the list goes on and on and on and on..................................................................

Send you stuff to me.  My payment for the work will be keeping the parts you intend to Dremel off.
