Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - buying kits

guys got a question. what if i like say, ordered a kit from from where ever, and on the phone i took away from the kit, stuff i dont need. will any of the distributers do that? like all i need now is just the upper with bolt. but if  i buy the upper seperatly i would pay about 15 bucks more than if i took the parts off i didnt need. anyone done this?

I have done that in the past for my own personal builds before I became a mfg. The ones I called/delt with worked with me on leaving out  certain parts and adjusting the price accordingly.
