leaking gas block

i have a 20" ss barrel with about 300 rounds through it and noticed a leak around the gas block, carbon. But it has not caused any malfunctions. how do i fix it, do i just tighten the allen bolts?

Where on the gasblock? Does the rifle function correctly? The allen bolts should be tight, they should not be loose at all.

Some leakage is normal.

it is leaking on the underside by the bolts.

Now that sounds a little different. Sounds like a poor fit on the gas block. A little tightening and observation might be in order there. Normal leakage is around the gas tube near the gas block.

Do I have to worry about the gas block moving? If moved, how do I align?

If possible, tighten it in place. If you suspect it moved, you have to eyeball it square to the receiver and retighten it.

Put some BLUE loctite on the screws if it keeps coming loose.
