Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - EGW Uppers and Long Free Float Tubes

Does anyone have experience with EGW Uppers?  Their reputation with building pistols is about the best in the business, so I'm assuming their AR parts are of the same quality?  

Secondly, I have everything decided as to what I'm going to buy for my first build, but the barrell/free-float tube combo seems to be giving me problems.  The barrell I'm considering is a DPMS 20"varmit barrell (minus front sight housing)  What I'd like to do is have a free-float tube (JP Ent.) which extends completely over the gas-block.  This requires a low profile gas block.  Does a low profile gas block exist for varmit barrells?  (Keep in mind I'm new to this)  I'd really appreciate any suggestions.  Thanks....

The JP handguard should fit over that gas block w/o any problems.
