Hi to all, Newbee Here.  I have a colt M4 that I just put a RRA 6 position stock on and it works great.  Now, here is the problem.  I also have an Oly 16" PCR  that I put the old Colt  fixed collapsible stock on and  the charging handle just hits the egg-shaped piece that goes between the lower and the nut that holds it on.  It will go over if you pull up just a touch, but leaves a mark.  Is it ok to file just a little off from those two pieces, and if someone has the name of those two pieces that would also be much appreciated.

It's OK to file on the receiver end plate. Just touch it up with some cold blue.
