Pretty much it's the honeycombing or I-beam like configuartion of the stock itself- apparently our guys were encountering malformed stocks when used to herd the bad guys out of their spider holes. The G came up with the need for the reinforced character of the stock. The message? Bash away, boys.

The G, and you have to hand them one on this, figured out that the guys either yank 'em all the way out or mash the stocks all the way in, thus they latest batch we put together for them have 4 position settings. God Bless Uncle Sam for figuring out how to save twenty eight cents per unit... and acting on it!

M&A offers the M4 (4 and 6 pos) stock as an upgrade on carbine kits for $30, buy 'em outright for $85
