Grease


This is what seems to be available in the several auto parts stores around me.  Will one of these work for use on the barrel nut threads?

What color should this stuff be?

Thanks, I'll go back and pick up the Coastal grease tomorrow.  It was a couple bucks for the tube.

The film canister idea is a good one.  Thanks for that tip as well.
