Hi:

I just read an article in Special Weapons for Military & Police in the "Gun Buyers Annual" #29 about a company called SSK Industries.  In the article on page 88 it states that SSK industries will cut the carry handle off leaving your standard iron sights.  Then they place a rail on the old handle area so you can put some sort of a optical sight.  Do any of you have any experiance with this process?  If so tell me what kind of sight you would mount so you still could use your iron sights.  Please let me know what you guys think.

the last one of JD's rigs I saw like this had a pro-point iirc, but keep in mind, these are the tricks that predate A3 uppers and all the optics out there
