Best cast lowers I have seen or used. They come gray, not black, like the old original M16's, appx the color of a USGI magazine. You can use Norrell's, Guncoat, etc to make it black, or Essential will do that for you (according to owner Bob Johnson as per phone call). I don't know what finish he can apply, did not say, but it is extra cost.
These lowers are well machined and finished, holes accurately located, etc. They are investment cast. |

Why go cast?
For 85.00 you could get a really nice forge lower from Ameetec or Mega. |

Don't go with Cast. Definetely get a forged lower. You can find some good deals on forged lowers on the equipment exchange. Stag Arms is listed at about $85, This is a very high quality lower. The fit and finsh on these lowers are amazing. Anyhow, good luck on your searching.

Bob says he will have both forged and cast, and will add some cast steel lowers, too.
