i have a bushy upper that has a problem..it seems that the barrel nut gas tube groove does not line up and if i use one groove down it is too loose..my mrf has slop.
any idea's.?

Tighten to the next slot but do not exceed 80 foot pounds in getting there.

thanks, could you possibly recommend a tool to do this ?   pipe wrench maybe ??

Is it a virgin receiver?  If so you must torque it 3 times loosening between the three times.
