I need to refinish the cut ends of my carry handle but need ideas on what to use.  I've read to use Birchwood Casey Aluminum Black (liquid) and Birchwood Casey Flat Black Paint (pen) but have no idea where to obtain it, or anything else.

I would try Brownell's Aluma-Hyde II matte black.  It matches the black AR finish such that DPMS and Armalite uses very well, but it can be had in several different colors.
