I picked up a pair of used full sized handguards at a gunshow cheap, and they are in great shape overall, but after about 5-10 rounds the heat sheilds start creeping forward to block the ventelation holes.  Does anyone have any suggestions on how to re-secure them, and what to use to do so?

Thanks

Go to your local auto parts store. Get some black RTV silicon caulk. The best stuff comes in a can kinda like cheese-whiz. Put a dab at each corner of the heatshield.

a little epoxy adhesive works wonders.
