cant get them beat out.  are they locktighted?  ill apply some low heat to it to try it next...

They can be a real bitch to get out, a very solid vise set up is recommended.

yeah im on a butcherblock work bench with a 5" vise bolted to it and the propane torch didnt do anygood...

any other suggestions?

I've created a blunt tip for a pnumatic chisel. dont go nuts with it just get them started with it. I only use it when holding my mouth just right doesn't work.



PS too much and you will mushroom them so bad they won't come out.

dont forget they might be tapered too!! Dont hit it them on the wrong side.

I le tmine soak overnight in Super Penetrator.  Then a couple of good whacks with a cup-tip punch and I am golden.
