Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - How do you install a new stock?

I just got a new stock for my AR-15A4 but to my shagrin..... I have no clue on how to properly take the old one off and put the new one on.  Do I need special tools? etc.  Thanks for everyones help in advance.hug.gif

Go to the INFORMATION section, Manuals and Downloads submenu. I believe TM 9-1005-319-23, page 46 has a picture and disassembly instructions for the stock assembly.
