it has a bit of wooble in it,,lets the handguards rotate a bit,,its on a colt govermeant model,hole around the gas tube is wore looks like,,it ok to braze or something to tighten this ??/

There is a little hump inside the slot inside the rear of the handguard that engages the teeth of the barrel nut.  This is what stops the handguard from rotating.  Put a dab of silicon RTV in the groove and reassemble. Let it set overnight.  

Epoxy is stronger but it would make it difficult to get them back off.

ok thanks...this a pretty new bushmaster handguards,,but i think i see what  your talking about,thanks again

If you are talking about the front ring just behind the front sight assembly, I had the same problem.  I used a bead of blue lock tight in the gap between the ring and the front sight assembly and let it sit over night. It has held up for nearly two years and several hundred rounds.

Degrease the area first and then try the lock tite.  Let us know how it works.
