Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - a1 use same buffer and tube as a2?

I assume as long as the buffer and tube match, and will fit in the stock everything should be fine, but I just want to make sure. Will the A2 buffer and tube on my bushy be ok in an A1 stock? I guess the spacer comes out right?

Yes, I believe the spacer was added to due to the added length of the A2 configuration.

You also need a shorter A1 buffer screw, with the through hole.

Thanks much, Harry. Got it together and it's the perfect length for someone of my proportion unlike the A2 or shorty/entry stocks.
