Dont get me wrong, the kit from Model 1 is very nice, I made the error on the order. I got a A2 front sight with a A3 flattop upper. What do I need to order so I can aim this thing?

What can I get temporarily untill I get my scope and mounting rail.

To aim in, you can buy an attachable carry handle for $75.  You shouldn't need a scope mount on a flat top upper, because they are 'weaver' style as it is...

that is a good set up.

it is how all new orders by the military are done. (M4A1 or M16A4)

the front sight post can cowitness with back up iron sights or the carry handle and a red dot type optic.

if you use a magnified optic it will see past the post (key word is magnified)
