i am looking to build a suppressor for my ar and my savage rifles. do you build it first then submit the application to the atf or do you do it the other way. what can reasonably be expected from a homemade can. i am not looking to shoot full auto just want to quiet my shooting down. also what are the reccomended materials and constrution techniques. lastly can anyone point me in the direction for construction dimensions. thanks

Get your Form 1 approved first before building - otherwise you'll be in possession of an unregistered suppressor and that could lead to legal problems.
