Shaw barrels are excellent quality. Best barrel you can get in a kit in my opinion. |

Those barrels are made specifically for us by ER Shaw, they are marked Double Star 1-9 for use with our rifles. We've been making complete rifles for a couple of years now. Check out our webpage if you have any other questions [url]www.star15.com[/url].

JT Distributing people are straight shooters; I have no doubt what you got was a Shaw barrel; they're excellent, FWIW.

My new DoubleStar barrel shoots 2.5" group @ 200 yds off the bench with a 4x scope and Q3131A. Hand load 55gr. Sierra boat tails tightened the groups to less than 2". More than good enough for the local 3-gun matches.
