Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Colt M16/9mm pin in mag block conversion to Sten Mag specs?

I wish to pop the pins that hold the 2 piece mag blocks in my Colt 9mm receiver and mill them to accept sten mags.

I have many pictures saved from this forum for how the finished product looks but I don't have any specs on the finished dimensions and where material removed from and what the typical hangups are that require some TLC.
