this is what i had before


the goal on that one was to have it as light as i could for use in 3 gun matches. but then after a match with alot of 4" plates at 50 yards. I deciced that i needed to have a scope for longer range work. I still wanted to retain my red dot for close in work. The optics mount below was modified to work on the right hand side. it was originally designed to be mounted on the left hand side. It took some doing/ hacking to get it to work right, but i was succesful.






I also wanted a longer handguard with a bipod mount on the end. i had to hack up an old gas block to fit underneath the handguards. I think i was going for a SPR type look for min investment.

I plan on putting a Fulton Armory Guardian stock on it very soon.

That's great!!!

You know you're an IPSC shooter when a dot scope at 50 yards just doesn't seem fast enough!

I've got to find a place to shoot 3 gun.

ya but we're talking about a rack of 4" plates at 50 yards
