I previously went to Lauer Custom Firearms for a refinish job but this time I'm having trouble getting them to respond to emails so I was wondering if anyone out there has reccomendations for places that will refinish a stripped upper and lower?

Do it yourself, brownells carrys the color in the alumahydeII line, you can also get a gun kote in flat black and do all your small parts in flat black to give contrast, total cost about 25.00, They also have a paint with moly in it to do the inside of your carriers and small parts, this will coat them in a coating that will resist oils and cleaners while providing a "dry film" inside.
