How do you permanantly pin a flash hider on a 14.5" M4 barrel?

I'm assuming you have a threaded muzzle:

You drill a hole through the flashhider into the barrel.  Insert pin and weld over.  Use a file to dress the weld and refinish.  If done correctly, it's hard to tell it was done.
