im wanting to build a CQB style ar but im kinda new to this

im trading a guy my Glock 31 for a bushy lower and i want to put a 16" bbl on it most likely a flat top and run something like a Aimpoint
i would also like a vertical handgrip and would like to be able to attach my M3 to it...

can this be done for say under $800???

what parts would you guys reccomend?

This one was built for bout $700bux.i also have eotech and the camo job (but that cost more)..it is Bushmaster Superlight barrel, DPMS lo-pro upper, OLy Lower, and ACE stock..and sum gunshow rear flip up,,also have Trijicon front site post..gun only weighs 5.0-5.5lbs maybe lighter..

I just finished my 1st build and I have exactly $604.71 in the rifle itself.  I used an Eagle Arms lower from Quantico Arms ($100 bought locally) and a J&T 16" postban CAR kit ($504.71).  I also have $557 in the optics and mounts.  I got the Aimpoint Comp ML2 (got it off of Ebay, an ARMS #38 Swan Sleeve (with built in BUIS), and an ARMS #22M68 mount.  Total in rifle and optics set-up...$1161.71

I really hope you aren't trading your G31 for a postban Bushy lower.  If you are, you are gettign screwed in a huge way.  I just bought a post ban lower a week ago for $90, the fire control parts for $50, the stock and grip I had already, but figure I coulod have bought them for $75 or so.  That is putting me at $225 or so with tax.  I put it together myself with the instructions from this AR15.com, and it was a joy.

My lower works great, if you want to trade a $500 pistol for a $250 lower, please feel free to let me know.  Actually, I couldn't do that to you.

Figure what you are buying before you get shafted by that guy!!

umm i already made the trade on the lower

but i only paid 200 for the glock in the first place so i didnt figure i was making out too bad.. should i try to get somethin else outta the kid.. i got the lower 400 rds of remmington and a NIW colt mag with a green follower

Way cool rifle.  Thats a lot like I had in mind for the AR-15 to Galil morph.
