Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - 223 wylde...... what is it?

 I'm looking to buy a new upper to make a real tack driver out of. I really like the RRA varminter with EOP flat top. But it only comes in this 223 wylde chamber. What is this? And any chance that a 223/5.56 Nato will work? I remember reading about it somewhere, but damned if I can find anything. Thanks!

you can shoot .223 and 5.56 out of it.  I don't remember the specs on it, but IIRC it is kind of like the best of both worlds.  Accurate without having too tight of a chamber.

Someone feel free to correct me if I am wrong...
