My 20" has a 1/9 twist. Putting together a M-4 now. Looking at CMMG M-4 upper 1/7 twist with comp. attached to 16"...JT has a mock M-4 1/9 twist...question which to go with CMMGINC.com $579.00 JT $300 something. I know you get what you pay for I'm more than likely going to go with the CMMG. Just wanted a little input on Twist.

The gov went to the 1/7 due to the heavier tracer round. I would stick with the 1/9, best compromise for 55 and 62 gr.

The CMMG (DPMS) 14.5" barreled uppers also are chrome lined 4150 steel and has the M4 feed ramps. I`m real happy with mine.
