Total assemble cost for all parts around $570 to build.

ASA AR15 Stripped Lower Receiver $140

With

DPMS 20 inch Rifle Kit Less Lower Receiver $430

Does this sound like a good config??? I'm concerned about the barrell quality of the DPMS, anyone have experience with it?

I have one of their DCM upper with 1/8 barrel and float tube.  The rifle is good for MOA.

I believe that their standard barrel is a 1/9 and probably produced by Wilson.

The one area that you should be concerned about, more than the barrel, is the Receiver. The Rock River Arms receiver can be bought cheaper, and is less of a risk of being out of spec.

Hope this helps.

I agree with Dano, you can get a RRA lower for a better price and they are very good quality. I built a M4 from all RRA parts and looks and shoots excellent.  Pete-in-NH is a good source for RRA parts also Georgia Precision. You can find them on the Equipment Exchange section of this site.

not true...  you can buy an RRA stipped lower from Gunsmoke for $110.  Last time I checked, $110 was less than $140.

Thats right what "slucas42" said. There are several places to find them cheaper than$140.
Bought mine localy for $110 But had to wait about a week for him to get it from RRA.  Like I said; check out the Equipment Exchange.
