Need advice on mount/light combo

So I built myself a really KISS carbine but would like to add a simply light to it. It's just a plain Jane plastic hand guard,, with a standard fsb. Any good light/mounts that would work and not break the bank. Thanks for help

Keep in mine these aren't necessarily the best prices on the web on these items, but here's what I'd suggest. Mount the streamlight rail section at 12:00, then put the VTAC offset to your strong side. The G2X Tactical is a great light, good price, and solid warranty support should anything ever go wrong. All at or under $100.

Again not best price. Just another option to what was posted above. Both would work fine though. The one I suggested does require permanently modifying the hand guard though.
