viking tactics light mount. I took it off and put it on several different ARs. Did this on all of them. Normal? It fits snug and does not move.

The one I used to have did the same thing...

Never moved though so I figured it was normal.

It is normal for the plastic mount.
I was not happy with that and I got a better mount instead.

Mine does that also.... Drove me crazy for the fist month, now it only bothers me when I get bord and check on my guns.

I wonder why they would make it like that. Wonder if the bending makes the mount tighter.

Whether it's tight or not, or if bending makes it tighter, it still doesn't look right. I'd also assume that it would fit pretty snug.

Some will say it's fine, as long as it does what it's designed for. I'm kinda OCD about little things like this, so it bug the crap outta me.

Mine is like that as well on one of my builds. I will replace it eventually.

Stuff like that drives me crazy, too. I would either modify that one to look right, or buy something different. My .02

Mine does that too.  Enough that it bothered me so much that I went with something else.  I still have yet to find anything I really like, and is comfy for me.

Mine also did that. It sits in a parts bin now.

I actually just found them, and that seems worthwhile to try.  Just waiting for the funds now.
